Rosalind Parkin

Ros Parkin qualified in 1986 and worked as a litigation and contract law solicitor which included a period in Hong Kong, before joining Lockharts as a Partner in 1995.

Ros specialises in Partnership work and particularly enjoys the drafting of Partnership Deeds, which she believes is not dissimilar to completing enormous crossword puzzles.

In addition, Ros appreciates the opportunity to visit her clients at their premises to talk to them about their practices. This has resulted in her making a number of good friends over the years, sometimes arising from the most unlikely circumstances!

Ros lectures extensively on partnership law and related issues and since 1995 has been responsible for the firm’s partnership contract work and advising in respect of various disputes. She appreciates having regular contact with clients and helping with new issues or problems that arise.

Ros’ publications include:

• Second Lead Contributor to Halsbury’s Laws of England 4^th Edition Resissue Volume 33 (National Health Service)
• Contributor to A Guide to Law in General Practice, 2002

Ros writes regularly for publications on partnership issues and is a member of the Association of Partnership Practitioners.

Ros is also a CEDR Accredited Mediator and is available to assist in the resolution of healthcare disputes.
