Paul Werrell

Paul qualified in 1994 and worked for commercial law firms in London and the Thames Valley before joining Lockharts in 2005.

A partner since 2010, Paul leads in dispute resolution and employment law.  He acts for clients involved in cases in the High Court / County Court and in Employment Tribunals.  He also has considerable experience representing clients in mediation.

Paul’s main areas of work are:

• Partnership disputes including advice on partner expulsions, accounting disputes, underperforming partners, sickness absence, property disputes
• Partnership agreements and arrangements when joining or leaving a partnership
• Disputes between practices and Primary Care Organisations
• Termination of employment, unfair dismissal and discrimination
• Employment issues arising out of business transfers
• Employment contracts, HR policies and compromise agreements
