Paul Werrell qualified in 1994 and before joining Lockharts worked for commercial firms in Central London and the Thames Valley.
Paul joined Lockharts in April 2005 and specialises in dispute resolution, employment law and partnership law. He has a wide range of experience in commercial, civil and partnership disputes, and regularly represents clients in mediation
Paul advises on
- Employment issues such as termination of employment, unfair dismissal, redundancy, disciplinary & grievance procedures, discrimination, transfers of undertakings and health & safety
- Employment documentation such as employment contracts, compromise agreements, staff policies & procedures
- Partnership disputes and dissolutions, including disputes involving partnership premises and other assets
- Disputes in the County Court, High Court, Employment Tribunals and Employment Appeals Tribunal
- Contractual disputes, judicial reviews and applications to the NHS Litigation Authority and the First Tier Tribunal
Paul heads Lockharts Litigation/Dispute Resolution team. He has been a partner since 2010 and has headed the litigation department since 2005.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys travelling, playing the piano and hiking.
